The Hungarian group of the Makita-ha Kashima Shinden Jikishin Kage-ryu kenjutsu Japanese swordsmanship school is holding its annual summer training camp again this year, this time between July 10th and 13th in Parád, at the foot of the Matra mountains.

Over a long weekend, you will have the opportunity to practice together with friends and old acquaintances, and those whose instructor permits may also take an examination.

The head instructor of the camp is György Baranyi, who is a shihan (master instructor) appointed by Suzuki Kimiyoshi sensei of the Makita-ha Kashima Shinden Jikishin Kage-ryu Kenjutsu style, and an official representative and examiner of the tradition.

Everyone is welcome!!

The camp is primarily recommended for those who have practiced Jikishin Kage Ryu kenjutsu before, at any time, even if it was a while ago.

If you would like to start without any prior knowledge, please contact György Baranyi beforehand.

If you feel like it, bring your family along! While you practice, they can go on excursions or visit the neighboring castle.
